Just south of Cape Cod you'll find Martha's Vineyard, or "the Vineyard" as east-coasters regularly call it. Just a short ferry ride away from Woods Hole lies this gem of the New England coastal region.
The Vineyard is deep in New England tradition including some of the freshest seafood you'll ever eat, quaint downtown shops and some of the finest beaches in the Northeast. Among the tourism, you'll find some very well dressed chaps sporting the WASP style of old and showing off madras checks and worn-in Sperry top-siders.
The Vineyard captures the true essence of New England, and is one of my all-time favorite sartorial destinations.
